Beaver County College Fair

Join us for the seventh-annual Beaver County College Fair, where representatives of more than 120 colleges, universities, technical schools and the military will be on hand to answer your questions. This free event is co-sponored by Penn State Beaver and the Beaver County Times and is the premier college fair serving Beaver County students.
In addition to college recruiters, a represenative from the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) will be on hand to answer all your questions about financial aid.
High school students of any grade -- especially seniors and juniors -- are encouraged to attend this free event. Ample parking is available throughout the Penn State Beaver campus. Please follow directions on signs and from parking attendants as you enter campus that evening. Registration is not required.
Columbus Day Application Workshop
Monday, Oct. 13, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Admissions Office
Get a jump on applying to Penn State Beaver! Complete your application and those applying to Penn State Beaver may receive a decision on the spot. The $50 applicaiton fee will be waived. Financial aid information and campus tours will be available.
Applicants must bring their official high school transcripts to receive an admissions decision. Only applications to Penn State Beaver will be received and evaluated. (Applications to other Penn State locations will be forwarded to the respective campus for evaluation.) Once paid, application fees cannot be refunded.
Registration not required.

Spend a day as a college student. Attend class and enjoy a free lunch with current Penn State Beaver students. Choose three classes to attend, from among: Accounting, Business, Calculus, Chemistry, Economics, Engineering, Psychology, Sociology, and more. (course offerings may vary)
Students can meet one-on-one with an admissions counselor and submit an application, if desired. Advanced registration is required. Space is limited, so register early.
Penn State Day / Fall Open House
Saturday, Oct. 25, 10 a.m., Student Union Building
Prospective students and their families are invited to explore Penn State opportunities. Meet with faculty and current students, tour campus and learn how valuable a Penn State degree can be.
The event will include a welcome from the Chancellor Gary B. Keefer, a presentation on Why Penn State is right for you, information on how to apply, and a tour of campus. Participants will also get to sit in on a college class, with choices ranging from business and chemistry to information technology and engineering.
Tours by current Penn State Beaver students will introduce students and their families to all campus facilities, including the residence and dining halls, gymnasium, library and academic buildings. Tours will conclude with Penn State Creamery Ice Cream at our homecoming carnival.
Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. with a continental breakfast and networking. The program begins promptly at 10 a.m. Advanced registration requested.
Veterans Day Open House
Tuesday, Nov. 11, 9:30 a.m. to noon, Student Union Building
Prospective students can learn about life at Penn State Beaver from the "experts," current students, faculty and staff. Talk with faculty about college expectations, see the campus gym in action, learn about Penn State's extensive library and technology resources, and more. This is a great chance to see the campus' newly renovated residence hall.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. with a continental breakfast. The program begins promptly at 9:30 with an information session. Guided tours of campus begin at 10 a.m. and run until noon, with designated stops in each of the campus buildings along the way. Because of the extended tours, we ask participants to please dress accordingly for that day's weather.
Advanced registration is requested.

The Admissions and Student Aid Office at Penn State Beaver schedules appointments and campus tours from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. In addition, we're also open the first Saturday of the month, October through December and February through May, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
