Ready, Set, GO - A Pre-College Preparation Program

The purpose of this course is to reframe, within the liberal arts tradition, the academic skills that high school students currently possess as well as introduce new skills.

Through active participation, practice, and reflection, students will sharpen their skills in reading, writing, listening, reasoning, critical thinking, problem solving, studying, and student reflection.

Students will practice these skills in written and discussion formats and will bridge the gap between academic efforts and "real life" applications. In addition, this course will illustrate the connections found within and among content areas and disciplines.

Please note: This is an accelerated course. It is presumed that students who enroll are highly motivated and able to include study and homework outside of class time.
